A few weeks ago, we had reported that Square Enix had released a list about launch dates of their various games. Star Ocean: Second Evolution for the PlayStation Portable was one of them. The action role-playing game was supposed to release in early January 2009. But that won’t happen.
Square Enix has confirmed that Star Ocean: Second Evolution for the PSP has been delayed. The game was eagerly awaited as it was going to have new playable characters along with new dialog. Also, the RPG was expected to have new animated cutscenes. The game is basically a remake of Star Ocean: The 2nd Story.
Star Ocean: Second Evolution for the PSP was supposed to release in North America on January 6, 2008. But Square Enix has moved the release date to January 20, 2008 without giving any specific reason. The action-RPG has already been released in Japan.
