PSP DualShock 3 Support Using PSP Plus Software!

When you think about DualShock 3, you think about Sony gaming consoles. But the console that comes to your mind is PlayStation 3. One wouldn’t expect a portable gaming console to have it. But now Sony has revealed at TGS 2008 that PSP games will have DualShock 3 support, thanks to a new software known as PSP Plus.

So what do gamers have to do? Well, apparently all they have to do is plug their AV-output capable PSP (2000 and 3000 models) to a display device and then plug connect the portable gaming console to the PS3. So besides playing the PSP games on a big screen, gamers will be able to control them with a DualShock 3 controller.

Resistance: Retribution for the PSP will be having support for the DualShock 3. Gamers will not only be able to disable aim assist in the shooter but also alter their control layout. Though gamers will need a copy of Resistance 2, they will not need a firmware update. Apparently future PSP gamers will also have support for DualShock 3.
