Uncharted 4 gets massive content drop via Bounty Hunters DLC

Those who are fond of the multiplayer offerings from Uncharted 4 have something to cheer about this week, even as a fresh new DLC for the game has just been released by its makers for free. This content will be applied to the game via a patch, and will feature a new mode, a fan-favorite map and much more.

Developer Naughty Dog has claimed Bounty Hunters to be one of the biggest multiplayer DLC updates they’ve ever produced. The new map included is Village, which is based on the village seen in 2009’s much lauded Uncharted 2.

The new mode for Uncharted 4 is called Bounty Hunter, and is claimed to encourage teamwork, strategy and skill. It involves two teams fighting it out to reach a score limit by collecting bounties from knocked out players. The opposing team can swoop in and deny the bounty to the player if they are late to collect it.

And then there are new weapons, boosters and even a fresh Mystical, which can be grabbed through the DLC Gameplay Chests. It’s called Shield of Asgard, and it reduces incoming damage for a brief period of time.

There’s also a new feature that’s being added to Uncharted 4 in the form of Cinema Replay. It creates archived versions of your matches by selecting the best moments, to allow you to go back to the matches and experience them again later.

Like we said, the Bounty Hunters DLC for Uncharted 4 is being doled out free of charge to those who own the game. It can be grabbed by downloading the latest update to the title.
