The Mass Effect 3 N7 Weekly Challenges have been persisting for Xbox 360 and PC gamers for quite some time now, but PS3 owners were being left out due to some dilemmas with Sony. But that’s all about to change now as starting this weekend, these challenges will also be opened to all those who wish to participate through their PS3 systems, BioWare has announced.

This weekend’s challenge which is titled Operation Exorcist, has already commenced, and players can now jump into it through the PS3, Xbox 360 or PC. Cerberus forces have been stealing classified data, and it’s up to the N7 forces to stop them in their tracks. With this mission brief in mind, gamers must adhere to the allied goal of killing 1,000,000 Cerberus Phantoms in total and a squad goal of surviving until extraction on any map and any enemy on Gold difficulty, according to a post on BioWare’s official blog.
Successful completion of the allied goal will result in all participating players being rewarded with Victory Packs, while achievers of the squad goal will be granted Commendation Packs. Players must however, remember to set the Upload Gameplay Feedback setting to ”˜On’ in the online options in order for BioWare to be able to track their statistics. And it should also be taken note of by PS3 gamers that owing to a ‘known issue,’ they will not be seeing the promotion screen, but they would still be participating and will be rewarded.
The latest edition of the Mass Effect 3 N7 Weekly Challenges – Operation Exorcist had begun yesterday, April 27 at 6:00PM PST, and will run until April 30 at 5:00PM PST on the PS3, Xbox 3690 and PC.
