This week’s PS3 lineup is being highlighted by the latest entry into the Spec Ops series dubbed Spec Ops: The Line, and also by The Amazing Spider-Man, both of which will get launched through retail tomorrow. No new releases are lined up for the PS Vita, but PSN users who’re yet to soak in the Uncharted saga, will be able to download the first two games in the series on their PS3 systems.
Spec Ops: The Line is a tactical third-person shooter which involves single-player as well as multiplayer components. Although it is a part of the Spec Ops series, this title kicks in a completely new story which revolves around Captain Martin Walker who is sent into a post-catastrophe Dubai with an elite Delta Force bravo team. The Amazing Spider-Man has been developed by Beenox – the studio responsible for a number of other games based on the Marvel superhero. It is all set to act as an epilogue to the events that transpire in the summer flick which is out in Indian theaters now.
Naughty Dog’s extremely acclaimed Uncharted series makes a foray onto PSN this week in the form of the first two titles. While Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune was released in 2007, Uncharted: Among Thieves came in 2009, with both of them having been successful in pleasing gamers with their action-adventure gameplay. Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection also hits PSN tomorrow, proffering RE fans with two past Wii titles that have been remade for the PS3 with HD graphics and PS Move compatibility. Order Up!, a cooking emulation game with support for the PS Move accessory, will also arrive on PSN tomorrow along with a free demo of LEGO: Batman 2 DC Super Heroes.
Other than these, the other games that will be launched this week for the PS3 include a PS mini named Farm Frenzy Pizza Party and the PS one Classic, Disney’s The Little Mermaid II.
