Uncharted 3 Patch Goes Live, Introduces Fixes for Aiming Issues

The Naughty Dog blog has confirmed that a new Uncharted 3 patch, titled Patch 1.02 has been released by them and can now be downloaded by gamers across all territories. An ‘Alternate Aim Settings’ option has been introduced for the game through this patch. Gamers can access this selection in their Options menus. However, this fix is only available for the single player part of the game, which might disappoint some players who’ve already finished the campaign with the earlier aim settings. Other additions to the single player side of this title include tweaks in the Motion Blur effects and the introduction of a Movie cutscene viewer in the Bonuses menu.

Eric Monacelli, Community Strategist at Naughty Dog, stated on the blog, “Thank you for playing and your patience while we built and released this patch. A lot of your feedback went into making this patch happen so keep letting us know what you think of the game. Continue to let us know in the forums of any technical issues you might stumble across. Hope you’re enjoying Uncharted 3! See you online!”

A host of other improvements also make their way into the multiplayer mode of the title with the Uncharted 3 patch. The game’s blindfire targeting, medal streaks, pull down range, turning speed while sprinting and more such gameplay traits have been modified by the developer. Furthermore, with this update the title’s matchmaking will wait for double the number of players within the biggest party in the room to be present prior to the start of a game. Besides, players would not be able to join a party which is already in matchmaking.
