Yakuza 3, the PS3 exclusive sequel to Yakuza 2, is scheduled to launch across Europe and the US in next month. Recently we reported on pre-order bonuses for the game. Now Sega Europe has announced that the Yakuza 3 demo is live and available for download on the PlayStation Network.
The demo casts players as Kiryu Kazuma, as they explore the extremely rich Japanese environments and complete a series of side missions from the game. Players will get a taste of the new deeper combat experience with two brutal and intense boss battles.
Yakuza 3 features a completely new setting, the tropical island of Okinawa, where Kazuma runs an orphanage with his daughter Haruka. But his past catches up with him, and he isn’t allowed to enjoy the idyllic life he’s made for himself.
Yakuza 3 will be available exclusively on the PS3 and is scheduled to release on March 12, 2010, but prices are not known.
