The PlayStation Plus is noted to be a subscription service package that offers new value-added offerings. Sony Computer Entertainment has now revealed that the latest addition to the PlayStation Network namely PlayStation Plus will arrive on June 29, 2010. The latest inclusion will bring along with it exclusive services and content.
The PlayStation Plus is being introduced by the company complete with loads of interesting features. Members will be treated to full versions of designated PS3 as well as various PSN games which also include PS one Archives. Gamers will be able to play the full version of the titles even beyond the expiry date of its trial period by acquiring the game online.
Players will also be able to indulge in PSN and minis without any particular time limit restraints. As the company suggests, these titles will be made available to PlayStation Plus members for free. They can avail of custom themes and avatars for free as well as exclusive discounts fashioned especially for PSP and PS3 titles.
Through the PlayStation Plus, players can soon acquire early access to select new game beta trials, video content and game demos. Designated game demos and updates as well as system software update data would automatically get downloaded by the PS3 system. The gaming console will automatically begin downloading content at a set time and switch off when done.
PSN users can acquire membership to PlayStation Plus through the PlayStation Store directly from their PS3 consoles. They can then take complete advantage of the different subscription options. These include a 30 day subscription which can be purchased for 500 yen (approx. Rs. 252) or 38 HKD (approx. Rs. 226). A 90 days option is also offered for 17.99 USD (approx. Rs. 834) or €14.99 (approx. Rs. 854) while for 365 days, membership for the same costs 5,000 yen (approx. Rs. 2,527), 233 HKD (approx. Rs. 1,386), 49.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,317) or €49.99 (approx. Rs. 2,851).
