UTV Ignition Entertainment Delivers Blacklight: Tango Down via PSN

We announced earlier in October that an online multiplayer first-person shooter will be making its way to PlayStation Network as a downloadable title around the end of previous month. Published by UTV Ignition Entertainment and developed by Zombie Games, Blacklight: Tango Down has now hit the official servers and is ready to be delivered as a downloadable product.

Subsequently after the release for Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows back in summer, PlayStation owners are reported to receive a completely up to date version of the game in addition to the PSN-exclusive content. Furthering the futuristic shooter’s seven game types and four co-op missions, a ‘Crossover’ PSN-exclusive map will be enclosed within the PSN release that transfers players in a financial district transformed in a warzone.

“Seeing the positive fan reception of Blacklight over the last few months as the game launched on XBLA and Games for Windows – LIVE has been truly inspiring,” commented Jared Gerritzen, Lead Designer at Zombie Studios. “We spent the summer listening to fan feedback and fine-tuning the game to make sure we’re delivering the most immersive shooter experience possible, while keeping the bargain price of just 15 bucks. We’re incredibly happy with the final result and know fans will enjoy the game more than ever before.”

Owing its exceptionality to the PSN release, a ‘Join in Progress’ option is integrated in Blacklight: Tango Down that will enable gamers to enter into a pre-organized team play lessening the waiting time periods required due an intermission. UTV Ignition Entertainment is reported to present players with an exploration trip across the enticing Blacklight universe as a downloadable multiplayer demo is revealed on PSN, concomitantly with the actual game’s launch.

An advanced imaging system in the player’s heads-up display, named Hyper Reality Visor (HRV) perceives enemies and friendly forces that are in close proximity. While transmitting information back to the players, the HRV delivers spontaneous battlefield intelligence to the in-game characters. The Blacklight: Tango Down purportedly offers trillions of different configurations with its weapon customization system that fulfills an unlimited adaptability and a diverse gameplay experience.
