Blacklight: Tango Down to Unleash Soon on PSN

Blacklight: Tango Down is noted to be a first-person shooter set in a fictional city of Eastern Europe, some 25 years into the future. The game traces the journey of an elite covert ops team on a mission to find the missing American Colonel Klein and the Blacklight team. Released earlier this year for the Xbox 360, UTV Ignition has announced that the game will soon pave its way to the PlayStation Network.

The game portrays a ravaged city engulfed in the debris of old world architecture and modern holographic advertising. With over four single player and co-op levels, the title boasts of around 12 multiplayer maps, seven game types and a wide assortment of armory. In this game, PS3 players can embark on an operation with friends through the Join-in-Progress option even in the midst of a match.

“Fans flocked to Blacklight over the summer because the game offered the most extensive array of gameplay and features ever brought to the DLG venue – for just 15 bucks,” enunciated Jared Gerritzen, Lead Designer at Zombie Studios. “Now with full updates, brand-new content and the ability to Join in Progress, PSN players will truly see the game at its best.”

The weapon customization system facilitates gamers to combine varying configurations while a Hyper Reality Visor introduces a superior imaging system for the Heads up Display. This will help players to distinguish between allies and enemies as they move forward with information sourced by the immediate battlefield intelligence.

Blacklight: Tango Down will be available for download with exclusive content on the PlayStation Network starting October 26, 2010 at the price of 15 USD (approx. Rs. 664).
