Crash Commando is the PS3 downloadable shooter game which can be launched in the PlayStation Home itself. Now Daimion Pinnock, Producer, SCEA writes on the PlayStation Blog that this week, Crash Commando will be getting new add-on content and a free patch. The patch and the DLC will launch along with the PlayStation Store update.
The patch will add the following improvements to the game:
Access to the online store within the game.
Improved BOT AI.
Improved sound output levels.
Portraits of the characters on the standing screen.
Rebalanced primary weapons.
Specific invert axis option for the turret gun.
Taunt animation when standing still added for original characters.
The downloadable add-ons include six new characters with a load of attitude. Each package will contain 2 characters. The six characters are Colonel Chaos & Army Chick, Nukem Ninja & Maid Mayhem, and Gangster Rapper & Reggae Rasta. There will also be the Heist Map Pack with 2 new large maps.
The full game can be purchased for 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 490) and there is even a demo which players can try out. The new map pack comes today Thursday, August 27, 2009 for 2.99 USD (approx. Rs. 145) and each of the three character packs will be available for 1.99 USD (approx. Rs. 100). The entire package, including the new map pack and the three character packs can be purchased for just 4.99 USD (approx. Rs. 245).
