Puma Teams up Microsoft for Forza Motorsport 3

Puma is the company which makes lifestyle Motorsport footwear, accessories and apparel and also sponsors some Formula One and Moto GP team including BMW Sauber, Ducati Corse, Red Bull Racing, Scuderia Ferrari, and Scuderia Toro Rosso. Now Puma has announced its global partnership with Microsoft for the release for Forza Motorsport 3. The partnership makes sure that Puma branding will appear in the game worldwide, and it includes a string of joint marketing ventures across North America and Europe.

Antonio Bertone, Chief Marketing Officer of Puma stated, “The Forza Motorsport association is the perfect fit for our brand. This partnership enables us to capitalize on the energy and excitement that accompanies a huge release such as Forza, and push the Puma Motorsport brand into a new and exciting arena. We’re delighted to be working with Microsoft on this.”

Steve Beinner of Microsoft commented, “Puma’s involvement in the release of Forza Motorsport 3 is testament to the anticipation that’s building among car lovers worldwide for the games October launch. The game has continued to grow in appeal with every edition we have launched, and we’re thrilled to have Puma as an official partner of Forza Motorsport 3.”

The partnership includes a number of cross promotional events such as the development of a limited edition Puma shoe which features Forza branding. There will also be exclusive gaming nights in select Puma Concept Stores which will allow fans to preview the game before they purchase it. In addition, Microsoft has appointed Puma supplied driver Natacha Gachnang, as the Face of Forza, as part of a pan-European PR program.

Forza Motorsport 3 allows gamers to paint and tune over 400 extremely exotic cars, and will be available exclusively on the Xbox 360. With over a hundred racing tracks from around the globe to choose from, the third instalment in the Forza series promises a fun filled and challenging enough racing experience for the first time racer and the seasoned pro alike.
