Sony Computer Entertainment unveils a great offering for gamers over the holiday season this year. The company revealed a series of PS3 bundles which comprise of the gaming console housing a new 250GB hard disc drive. These bundles are also packed with a selection of software and content. The inclusion boasts of a choice of two famous titles namely Need for Speed Shift and Fifa 10.
The sale of more than 1 million units of the 120GB PS3 was observed only in the first three weeks of sale according to the company. The new offering namely the 250GB system possesses the same hardware specs but with a bigger storage capacity. This latest gaming console lets gamers experience the unique PS3 features and software line-up.
These include many multimedia functions like storing and viewing photographs, watching TV shows and videos as well as listening to their music collection which also can be stored in the system. The additional storage capacity enables players to download and take advantage of all the offerings on the PlayStation Store like the latest games and add-ons. Even movies in SD and HD can be acquired from the PlayStation Network video delivery service. This service is expected to deploy later this year.
The NFS Shift or Fifa 10 250GB PS3 bundle is set to land onto shelves next month. the price is not yet disclosed by the company as yet.
