Previously, we had reported about Sony’s 80GB PS3 release in India. We have since seen the European version of the all new 80GB PS3 undecided as to which free game will be included in the package. Now reports confirm that the 80GB PS3 pack will include Killzone 2 as the free game in Australia. Sony had earlier promised Killzone 2 for the UK release of the PS3 bundle.
The PS3 bundle ships to Australia with one wireless Dual Shock 3 controller inside as well as a copy of Killzone 2. The bundle will release in Australia on February 26, 2009 which incidentally is the same day that the game is released. Killzone 2 is a science fiction first person shooter set on a far away planet called Helghan. The game is being developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.
This 80 GB PS3 console bundle is expected to retail in Australia at about 699.99 USD (approx. Rs. 22,405).
