Street Fighter IV DLC, Expansion Pack announced by Capcom

Capcom Europe has announced an expansion pack for Street Fighter 4. This will be the first expansion pack for Street Fighter 4 and will be available as a free download. The Championship Mode expansion pack will bring many new options to the gameplay of the game.

The Street Fighter Championship Mode expansion pack will include a ‘Replay Mode’ in which players can download, upload and record matches and share them with the Street Fighter 4 community. Players can leave feedback for others. The pack will also include two new points systems i.e. Championship and Tournament Points, as well as an improved tournament matching system which brings accurate tournament matching for mid-level players and beginners.

Capcom also announced alternate costume packs which will be released as DLC for Street Fighter 4. Players can use these packs to customize their favorite fighters. Each of these packs will be available for 320 Microsoft Points for the Xbox 360. Each of these packs will be released at different times and will include different outfits for the fighters as given below.

Street Fighter IV 2

The Brawler Pack will contain alternate attire for Abel, El Furete, El Honda, Rufus and Zangeif, and will release on February 17, 2009. The Femme Fatale Pack will contain alternate costumes for C. Viper, Cammy, Chun-Li, Rose and Sakura, and will be released on February 24, 2009.

The next pack is the Shoruken Pack which will include alternate costumes for Akuma, Dan, Gouken, Ken and Ryu, and will be made available on March 03, 2009. Next to follow will be the Shadowloo Pack which is said to comprise of different costumes for Balrog, M. Bison, Sagat, Seth and Vega, and is set to be released on March 10, 2009. The last pack, the Classic Pack will be released on March 17, 2009 and will contain alternate costumes for Blanka, Dhalsim, Fei-Long, Gen and Guile.
