Sony “Aware” of Firmware 3.00 Issues

Sony’s most recent software update, which is v3.00, just hit PS3 owners recently. And just last week there were reports from several PS3 owners that the latest software update for their PS3 systems caused a few issues, particularly with the DualShock 3 controller. Now Patrick Seybold, Senior Director of Corporate Communications and Social Media writes on the PlayStation Blog that SCEA is well aware of this situation and is looking into the matter.

PS3 Firmware 3.00 Issues

Apparently PS3 owners who have updated their systems with the PS3 Firmware 3.00, Sony’s latest software release for the system, are having issues not only with the DualShock 3 controller, but also with the game Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. Other complaints range from the inability to access most of the PS3 trophies, to issues logging onto the PlayStation Network.
