Gamers who use a PC have always been used to long install times but from the time console makers decided to offer hard disks for a better experience, console gamers too have to do with them. Some games on the consoles take a long time to install, which can become irritable at times.
But now Guerrilla Games has indicated that apparently Killzone 2 won’t have to be installed on the PS3 hard disk. Seb Downie is the QA manager at Guerrilla Games. On the European PlayStation Boards, he replied to questions related to the installations required for Killzone 2. This was his reply:
“No install. Optional or otherwise.”
Downie did not offer any explanation as to how did they manage to pull it off but PS3 gamers would be happy to know that Killzone 2 does not have to be installed on the PS3 HD. Killzone 2 has been developed by Guerrilla Games and will be published by SCEA. The first person shooter will be out next year.
