Last year, Electronic Arts released a skating game called as Skate. The game was made to take on the Tony Hawk series. It got a good reception and EA responded with announcing a sequel. Now EA’s Black Box studios has sent word that Skate 2 will be out in January 2009.
What’s exiting about Skate 2 is that it is set in a new city called as New San Vanelona, which has been rebuilt after an appalling disaster five years ago. Gamers will also have the ability to get off-board and move objects around. They will also be able to upload and share challenges that have been made by them.
Skate 2 has been developed in Vancouver by EA Black Box. The game will release in North America on January 21, 2009 while the rest of the world will get the game on January 23, 2008. EA will also be launching the Graphics Creator on the official Skate website next month.
