Just a few days ago, Sony reduced the price of the PS3 in North America. However, they have got something better for the European gamers as they have announced the availability of a high value PS3 Starter Pack. It includes a PS3, Resistance: Fall of Man, MotorStorm and two SIXAXIS wireless controllers.
David Reeves, President, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe said, “With sell through of over 1.2 million units in the SCEE territories to date, PLAYSTATION 3 has proved to be an instant and huge success. The exceptional value of the new Starter Pack will bring the enthusiasm of PlayStation gaming to a much larger audience. Add to this a stellar lineup of software titles for the second half of the year and we are certain that this amazing value Starter Pack will encourage many more keen gamers to join the PLAYSTATION 3 community.”
PS3 Starter Pack will be available in the United Kingdom from July 18, 2007 while other territories in the Europe will get it by August 1, 2007. Sony has put a price tag of £425 (approx. Rs. 34, 900) on the PS3 Starter Pack.
