The Sony PlayStation 3 console, one of the most awaited next generation gaming hardware has been postponed. PS3 console was being planned for a spring release.
Sony today announced that the rumors started by Japanese newspaper Nihon Keizai Shimbun about the delay in the launch of Sony PS3 was actually true and the release has been pushed back until November.
Sony said issues over the finalization of copy protection technology related to their Blu-ray disc drive is the cause of the delay.
With this delay it looks like Sony wont be able to launch Sony PlayStation 3 console in all territories before the end of the year.
