Whether watching a movie, anime or playing a video game, it is frustrating to watch them if they are dubbed. In fact, subtitles provide an authentic experience. Now it has emerged that the Yakuza 2 game, which will soon be released in North America will have English subtitles along with Japanese audio.
This was posted on the official Yakuza 2 PS2 page on Sega’s American website:
- Authentic, cinematic sequel. The gritty, genuine portrayal of life in the Yakuza is made more realistic throughout 16 gripping chapters with a return to the original Japanese voice cast and English subtitles.
Yakuza 2 is scheduled to be out on the PS2 in North America on September 9, 2008. The game was released in Japan in 2006. As for the next game in the series, Yakuza 3, it was launched for the PS3 in Japan earlier this year.
