RollerCoaster Tycoon World headed to Steam Early Access this month

One of the most anticipated PC games right now, RollerCoaster Tycoon World has just been announced to be headed into the Steam Early Access program this month. This game will be launched on the platform on March 30, with a host of diverse features available to be tested.

For those unaware, when a game is released through Steam Early Access, players can buy it and start playing an unfinished version even as the developers keep improving it based on feedback. There’s no telling when the final version of RollerCoaster Tycoon World will be released.

If you’re interested in jumping into the RollerCoaster Tycoon World Early Access, you will need to whip out $50 (approx Rs 3340). The first release of the game on Early Access has been revealed to come with an ‘innovative’ coaster builder that will combine both freeform and piece-by-piece approaches.

It will of course feature a sandbox mode, and will offer 30 different flat rides, 4 themes for parks (sci-fi, adventure, generic and western) and 10 types of coasters, with each of them equipped with ride cams. And there will be Steam Workshop support as well for integration of fan-created content.

Other features like piece-by-piece custom built structures, dark rides, a scenario editor and more will be added to RollerCoaster Tycoon World later on. It has been revealed by Atari that those who have pre-ordered the game as well as those who buy the Early Access on its launch date will have one day to try it and get a refund if they don’t like it.
