Jimi Hendrix graces Rock Band Music Store

MTV Games and Harmonix are all set to bring the sounds of Jimi Hendrix to the gaming scene. The companies plan to unveil The Jimi Hendrix Experience’s classic album, Axis: Bold As Love as well as a new single by him dubbed as ‘Valleys of Neptune’. Fans of this guitar legend can also expect more songs from Jimi Hendrix in the near future.

Besides the titles, Up From the Skies, Castles Made of Sand, Little Miss Lover and Valleys of Neptune, all the other songs can be found on the Lego Rock Band Music Store.

Each track is priced at $1.99 (approx. Rs.89), £.99 (approx. Rs.67), €1.49 (approx. Rs.90) or 160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360. The Axis: Bold As Love Album can be purchased for $19.99 (approx. Rs.900), £9.99 (approx. Rs.679), €14.99 (approx. Rs.911) or 1600 Microsoft Points. For the Wii, each song bears a cost of 200 Wii Points. Xbox 360 and Wii owners can already get their hands on the songs as of today while PS3 players will have to wait until April 1, 2010.
