Starting tomorrow, MTV Games and Harmonix will blow players away with some foot-tapping, guitar-busting tracks. The companies prepare to endow Rock Band fans with rock singles from Silverchair, Busted, Flyleaf. These artists will join the Rock Band Music Store and feature alongside 400 talented musicians including the likes of Green Day, Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC and The Who.
British pop rockers Busted come into the arena loaded with the song ‘Thunderbirds Are Go!’ while we see Flyleaf belting out the track ‘Again’ from their Memento Mori. Rounding up the offerings this week is Australian alternative rock trio Silverchair as they debut into the Rock Band array with their song entitled ‘Tomorrow’
All these tracks are acquirable as individual songs and can be enjoyed on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii gaming consoles. Each track bears a price tag of $1.99 (approx. Rs.88), £.99 (approx. Rs.67), €1.49 (approx. Rs.88) or 160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360. For Nintendo Wii owners, these songs can be purchased for $2.00 (approx. Rs.88) or 200 Wii Points. The songs mentioned above will unfurl onto the Xbox 360 and Wii by tomorrow while PS3 players will have to wait until April 29, 2010 to groove to these tunes.
