During this year’s Halloween bash, gamers can spin a music war with 83 exclusive mixes as the next installment in the DJ Hero series has waded its way to the gaming shore. Unleashing a wave of fresh party acoustics, Activision recently launched DJ Hero 2 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii.
Featuring a new multiplayer mode, the title will pit gamers against each other in unique Battle Mixes as vocalists rack points by singing along the pitch and range of the music played. The library of the game has been infused with tracks from artists such as Rihanna, Eminem, Lady Gaga and others. In the game, players can create their personal compilations by crossfading, scratching and sampling songs from distinct genres as well as musicians.

Gamers who purchase Turntable Bundle or Party Bundle of the title from Best Buy can take home a free premium hard-shell turntable carrying case which can be easily transformed into a DJ stand.
Those who grab a specially marked DJ Hero 2 Party Bundle for their Wii and Xbox 360 consoles from WalMart can lay their hands on a free copy of the first installment in the series. Besides, Amazon is giving away free copies of Linkin Park’s new soundtrack namely A Thousand suns with the game. However, this offer is open only until 11:59PM PDT tonight.
