Recently there was a rumour going around that Green Day: Rock Band would feature the entire American Idiot album. Well, now this rumour has been confirmed. G4TV is reporting that in an interview, Harmonix’s Chris Foster revealed that Green Day’s entire album American Idiot will be featured in the Rock Band game dedicated to the band.
“We wanted to have the entire American Idiot album in the game. It’s like one album that’s meant to be heard and played as one unit. So you have the ability to do that. It’s the first time we’ve shipped any game with a full album involved in it. And it really fits for Green Day, and we’re really excited about it,” he said.
All the songs in the American Idiot album seem to be strung together anyway, so having the entire album featured in Green Day: Rock Band seems like a good idea. But will you be able to play the songs continuously, one after the other without a break? Now that would be something!
