The Sims 3 World Adventures is the first expansion pack for The Sims 3 simulation game from EA. Now the EA Play Label of Electronic Arts has announced that The Sims 3 World Adventures will feature music from global artists including Grammy winner Nelly Furtado, Pixie Lott, Stefanie Heinzmann, new rock band Matt & Kim, Young Punx and more.
“We have been busy recording the eclectic mix of songs in Simlish, the official language of The Sims,” stated Robi Kauker, Audio Director for The Sims Studio at EA. “The collection of artists’ songs in the game are fantastic and there’s something every player will recognize and enjoy.”
“I was really excited when I heard EA wanted me to be involved with The Sims 3 World Adventures,” Nelly Furtado exclaimed. “I love languages, and it was so fun singing in Simlish.”
Pixie Lott added, “I think it’s really cool to have a song in The Sims 3 World Adventures. You can go over to a radio in the game, play the Simlish version of “Mama Do,” and take that radio with you anywhere you go inside the game!”

The expansion pack takes players’ Sims on the adventures of their lives, to all sorts of locations including France, Egypt and China. Players can meet Sims with unique personalities, share their experiences and bring them home. Players who register their PC or Mac copies of The Sims 3 online will receive 1000 SimPoints which can be used in The Sims 3 Store.
The Sims 3 World Adventures expansion pack will ship to retailers for Windows and Mac computers in the week of November 16, 2009. The expansion will also be available for the iPhone, iPod Touch and feature phones in early 2010.
