The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom

Just one month before the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Nintendo has blessed it with a new trailer. The highly-anticipated sequel to Breath of the Wild will be launched exclusively for the Nintendo Switch console next month.

The new The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom trailer lets us meet some familiar faces from the series. It looks like Riju is back and all grown up, while Prince Sidon can also be spotted in the trailer.

It opens up with a shot of Hyrule through the clouds as if to emphasize how important the world above will be. In case you’re unaware, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will include vertical as well as land-based exploration.

The new game will also retain several aspects of the previous entry, which was released to rave reviews in 2017. In it, you play as an amnesiac Link, who awakens from a hundred-year slumber and must save Princess Zelda, while preventing Calamity Ganon from destroying the world.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was met with immense acclaim from gamers and critics alike. It was the recipient of multiple Game of the Year awards and is regarded as one of the greatest video games of all time.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild also happens to be the top-selling game in the series and one of the best-selling video games of all time. By 2022, it had managed to sell off more than 30 million copies worldwide.

And those records are now being threatened by its sequel itself. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is slated to hit store shelves worldwide on May 12.
