Warframe fans have a good reason to jump back into the game even as its Angels of the Zariman expansion has been released. The new update was doled out to the free-to-play shooter on April 27 and while fans were pleased with this release, they still have no idea of when the promised Warframe crossplay will be enabled.
The narrative for Angels of the Zariman picks up where last year’s The New War cinematic quest had ended. The story revolves around the mysterious Zariman Ten Zero ship, which you must return to in order to confront your horrifying past and stop the haunting song that it’s radiating across the Origin System’s airwaves.
“In doing so, you will get a clearer picture of what actually happened to the Zariman Ten Zero,” said Rebecca Ford, Community and Live Operations Director, Warframe. Upon the completion of the quest, players can also take advantage of the three new game modes – Void Flood, Void Cascade, and Void Armageddon – that form part of the update.
Aside from that, the Angels in the Zariman expansion for Warfram also includes Zariman-themed weaponry and reworks to Warframe’s Focus Schools and Eximus enemies. “There’s so much in the Angels of the Zariman expansion that we can’t wait for players to discover,” said Rebecca in a post on Xbox Wire.
As you may know, Warframe is a free-to-play action RPG that puts players in the shoes of members of an ancient race of warriors called Tenno who have awoken after a century of cryosleep. They find themselves way ahead in the Earth’s future and must now deal with the war that the different factions in the planetary system are engaged in.
The Angels of the Zariman expansion for Warframe is available as a free download right now for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC versions of the game.
