At the ongoing Tokyo Game Show in Japan, Dark Souls 3 has been granted a release period for western territories. This upcoming action-RPG is supposed to hit Japan on March 24, but it didn’t have any release date for the other regions. However, its makers have now confirmed that it will be arriving for western audiences in the following month.
Dark Souls 3 will be made available for the PS4, the Xbox One and PC in North America, South America, Europe, Middle-East, Africa, and Australasia in April. There’s no exact date to quote here, but at least we know now that it won’t be wasting much time after its Japanese launch.
The game is of course being developed by From Software which has also been responsible for the extremely revered previous entries to the series. It’s being helmed by Hidetaka Miyazaki who is actually the creator of the entire Souls series.

It has been revealed that From Software will be holding a network test of Dark Souls 3 from October 16 to October 18. However, only those who own the PS4 will be able to participate in it. Sign-ups for this test are open right now, and will be staying open until October 4.
The first game from the Souls series was Demon’s Souls which was released back in 2009 for the PS3. Then in 2011 came Dark Souls which made its way to the PS3, the Xbox 360 as well as PC. This game was then followed by up Dark Souls 2 which was released for the PS3, the PS4, the Xbox 360, the Xbox One and PC.
And now, it’s the turn of Dark Souls 3 to be launched for fans to revel in. Like we said, the game will be arriving this April.
