A trailer named Rage and Steel, concentrating on showcasing the combat scenarios of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been released by its makers ahead of the game’s launch which is supposed to take place later this month. But what’s more interesting is that it also gives us a sneak peek at the game’s new playable character named Ciri who has some nifty magical abilities to take advantage of. This title will complete a trilogy of games developed by Polish studio CD Projekt RED, based on a series of fantasy novels by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski.
The new trailer of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt which you can spot in the space down below shows us the various melee combat moves that the main character is capable of. Additionally, it also gives us a glimpse of how the protagonist will be tackling the different types of enemies who will be present in the game. This single-player offering will mark the arrival of a new character named Ciri to the series. She is a swordfighter with mythical powers, and can be spotted in the later part of the trailer.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an action role-playing game that’s supposed to take place in a setting that’s more than ‘30 times larger’ than previous Witcher games. Geralt of Rivia, the Witcher himself will again be the protagonist of its story which will have him embark of a personal mission during dark times that have engulfed the kingdom.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released worldwide on May 19 for the PS4, the Xbox One and PC. There’s no news on whether it will be making its way to Mac or Linux platforms however.
