Nintendo, Namco Bandai Join Hands for Solatorobo: Red the Hunter in Europe

After spending thousands of hours toiling for the 3DS, Nintendo is now ready to flaunt its multitasking skills. Well, the company has inked a deal with Namco Bandai Games Europe for the distribution of Solatorobo: Red the Hunter throughout the continent. This RPG set in a fantasy world has been crafted for the Nintendo DS family of consoles.

As per the terms of the aforementioned agreement, Nintendo will execute sales, marketing and distribution responsibilities pertaining to the game across Europe, New Zealand, Russia, Australia, Turkey and South Africa. It has been revealed that the title will come packed with engrossing graphics and animations crafted by Madhouse and Nobuteru YÅ«ki, respectively.

This upcoming game follows the story of an anthropomorphic dog dubbed Red Savarin dwelling on the Shepherd Republic, a mythical floating island. In the title, the dog is touted to possess the power to transform into a human avatar while fighting the likes of colossal robotic ‘mecha.’ Unleashing an environment inundated with mystical elements, it has been plugged to deliver a unique experience on Nintendo’s handheld gaming systems.

Solatorobo: Red the Hunter has been slated to launch later this year for the Nintendo DS family of systems across the European continent.
