Twisted Metal Arriving This October for PS3

Twisted Metal is noted to be one of the longest-running PlayStation-exclusive series. With over seven chapters in its lifetime till now, the vehicular combat franchise will soon see the rush of a new installment. Though rumors about the next chapter of this saga have been hovering in the terrain for a long time, the game still remained under a mysterious shroud.

A post on the PlayStation blog has uncovered details about the new Twisted Metal for PS3 while revealing that the title will release in October this year. Following the unveiling of the game’s first trailer dubbed Broken, the company has dropped in some more information about elements which have been enclosed in this action-packed world. The trailer unravels character stories of Mr. Grimm, Sweet Tooth and Dollface with an invading sense unleashed by a creepy tower flashed at the end.

In addition to the elements mentioned in the aforesaid trailer, the game is also expected to boast of a new vehicle named Battlewagon. This automobile is said to have been a desire to ride for its developers including co-directors and co-lead designers David Jaffe and Scott Campbell as well as Eat Sleep Play’s Creative Director Kellan Hatch. Besides, the company will soon introduce two new levels of the title along with its innovative Nuke mode.

With Twisted Metal scheduled to storm into the domain on October 4, 2011, we are waiting for a fierce battle of gaming titles through the year’s latter half.
