The game has been touted to present classic RPG action in an innovative style. Its control mechanisms are designed to extend an engrossing playing experience while enabling gamers to unleash several attacks with the help of their DualShock 3 controllers. Furthermore, its interface based on the PC hotkey system allows players to swap between two battle stances by simply tapping the L1 key.

Embedded with magical items including enchanted swords, blessed boots and mystic helms, the title unfolds a story of four characters with nine unique abilities. To ensure that none of the characters fumble for red and blue potions while recovering health and magical energy, its enhanced and simplified controls are expected to rescue players. Additionally, gamers can spot their quests by tapping on the d-pad.

The title comes equipped with support for two-player local co-op play which facilitates gamers to share the same screen as they embark on a mission. It will also make it possible for them to accomplish tasks with up to four online friends via the drop-in, drop-out co-op play mechanism. Besides, gamers can choose a particular course of action after consulting others by reading their votes in this mode.

Developed by Obsidian Entertainment, Dungeon Siege III will be available on May 31, 2011 for the PS3.
