Dungeon Siege III is noted to be an action RPG multi-platform title that offers a new take on the classic action-RPG franchise. Now publisher Square Enix along with developer Obsidian Entertainment has revealed that the highly-anticipated game would be available in Europe and other PAL territories this May. There is an exclusive Limited Edition that can be availed of through pre-orders.
The next chapter enables players to step into the shoes of any one legionnaire among four as they fight for their fallen companions. The events take place in the crumbling kingdom of Ehb where there are perpetual battles. The player’s decision has its own consequences that affect the end result of the overall game. They can go into battle either with up to three friends or as a lone warrior.
“With Dungeon Siege III we are bringing the rich world and lore of Ehb to an all new audience,” commented Ned Browning, Brand Manager at Square Enix. “The depth of story and wealth of characters and classes will take players on an incredible journey whether in single player or with up to three friends online.”
The co-op multiplayer mode features robust AI allowing gamers to easily jump in and out of the battlefield without hindering the campaign that is currently playing. The limited edition Dungeon Siege III pack enters PAL territories comprising four unique in-game items that can be activated on the launch day. Through this offering, the characters’ abilities increase which gives players an added advantage while scouring the Kingdom of Ehb.
Claimed to be the next chapter in the exciting lore, Dungeon Siege III is slated to release on May 27, 2011 across the PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.
