Bioware Announces Dragon Age Legends for Facebook

Social networking sites seem to have caught the attention of game developers and publishers. Owing to the expansive reach of these platforms, Bioware has carved out a chapter from its acclaimed Dragon Age franchise for Facebook. Dubbed Dragon Age Legends, this Play4Free Facebook title is currently being developed by the gaming giant.

Amalgamating exciting tactical combat with engaging co-operative gameplay, this new title has been touted to suit the casual and social play style of Facebook members. In this game, players can traverse through the Dragon Age universe for accomplishing tough missions. Weaving an interesting narrative through this adventure, the title allows gamers to earn loot, share rewards and expand their kingdom.

The title features a character customization and upgrade system and enables players to don the role of the hero in this universe by defeating demons and darkspawn. As gamers enter the Dragon Age territory on Facebook, they can experience the primary setting of the upcoming Dragon Age II namely the Free Marches.

Dragon Age Legends has been scheduled to release in February next year. Gamers can set out on this journey to earn exclusive unlocks for Dragon Age II which will be released in March 2011.
