Role-playing games are fun to play on handhelds and in the last few months, we have seen a lot of RPG games on the Nintendo DS. Now the Japanese video games magazine Famitsu has got hold details of a new fantasy role-playing game for Nintendo’s handheld. Called as World Destruction, the game will be released by Sega.
World Destruction is based around two characters, Kyrie and Morute, who have joined an underground organization called ‘Destruction of the World’. They are out to destroy the world as the humans are enslaved by the monsters. The RPG features other characters, Naja, who is a half-man, Agan and Lia, who is three hundred years old. The game has a turn-based battle system.
World Destruction for the Nintendo DS is being developed by Image Epoch, the same people who made the Luminous Arc series. Character designer Kunihiko Tanaka, writer Masato Kato and composer Yasunori Mitsuda are also working on the game. They have previously worked on the Xenogears RPG.
