Portal 2 Developed With Multiple Endings

Back in December, Valve announced its collaboration with EA for distributing the next chapter of the sci-fi puzzler Portal. Now, a post on VideoGamer has revealed that Portal 2 will be rolled with two end credit sequences. Both the single player and co-op campaigns are touted to come with distinct endings, offering an exciting gameplay.

During a recent EA showcase, Valve’s Chet Faliszek disclosed about these new inclusions in an interview with the website. According to the writer, these modes have been packed with individual surprise rewards. He also explained that though the difficulty level of the title has been raised in Portal 2, it is not impossible to complete the game.

Apparently, the company will dish out mod tools for PC as well as other platforms. Supposed to enhance the level of community interaction amongst fans, they will enable players unravel their creativity through user-generated content. Additionally, Jonathan Coulton, composer of the popular ‘Still Alive’ track used in the first title, is said to have penned down a new tune for the upcoming chapter. However, there is no confirmation whether the score will appear in the new iteration.

Chipping together a series of puzzles, Portal 2 will land onto the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on April 18, 2011 in North America.
