Last week Microsoft had released a list, which included games that will release in August for the Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA). Two games from that list, Hexic 2 and Ecco the Dolphin will be available tomorrow on the XBLA.
Ecco the Dolphin is the classic game by Sega. It is a fun, fanciful update of the classic undersea exploration game featuring an online leaderboard that tracks “Best Time,” and features improved graphics and sound.
The second game, Hexic 2 builds on the success of Hexic HD but has all-new pieces to the board and a new multiplayer mode. The game has been made by Alexey Pajitnov, the original creator of Tetris. The puzzle game is rendered in full 3-D with striking special effects such as reflections, glow, and spectacular highlights. Hexic 2 has been developed by Carbonated Games.
Ecco the Dolphin will cost 400 Microsoft Points while Hexic 2 will cost 800 Microsoft Points. Ecco has already been released on the Virtual Console for the Nintendo Wii. Xbox 360 gamers will be pleased with both the games as Hexic 2 and Ecco the Dolphin seem to be very quirky and funny!
