PC gamers will soon have a chance to jump into SOE’s new free-to-play first-person shooter which is being developed by Acony Games. Slated to come out during this summer, the game is described as a team-based multiplayer title that places players in a reality TV show where contestants showcase their deadly talents in the name of fame.
Gamers will be known as ‘Contestants,’ and will be required to battle till death in order to achieve fame. These matches are said to transpire is a number of different environments which are filled with tactical options, play styles and equipment choices options. This game’s ‘Synth’ technology, allows players to die, re-incarnate into a new body and jump back into the action until the match is over.
Andre Herbst, Founding Partner and Marketing Director, Acony, commented, “We are excited to bring players what we think will be the best FPS experience in the PC free-to-play market. We designed Bullet Run with the same quality and attention to detail as a AAA retail product but focused on making it a great game experience for a full range of players regardless of their skill level.”
Team Deathmatch and Dominion are the two game modes that will be on offer with the title. Apart from this, choices on various aspects like, character stylization, a progression system, community features and six different maps will be provided. Gamers can now register for the game’s beta on its official website.
