Alan Wake’s American Nightmare Haunting PC Now

Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, Remedy Entertainment’s psychological action thriller, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare has eventually made its way to PC after debuting on Xbox Live. Available now on Steam and GOG, this title is being furnished with a 15 percent discount to all those who own the original Alan Wake.

The PC version comes with a number of exclusive features that include high-resolution graphics, texture resolutions and graphical options. Moreover, a new Nightmare difficulty mode also forms a part of the game, and so do customizable controls, stereoscopic 3D and multiscreen functions. Along with the campaign, this title also comprises a Fight till Dawn arcade mode that has Wake tasked with surviving a full night of brutal attacks. This mode was even present in the XBLA version.

The game is described as a standalone pulp action adventure that revolves around Wake’s journey to Night Springs, a twisted, horrifying alternate reality where fiction has become real. He must now pursue his evil doppelganger, Mr. Scratch, as he leaps across the Arizona mesa towards the town of Night Springs. Being a supernatural serial killer, Scratch is out to kill Wake’s wife.

Alan Wake’s American Nightmare can be purchased now for PC via Steam and GOG at a price of 14.99 USD (approx. Rs. 825).
