Dead Space 2 PC Patch Comes with Free Suits, Weapons

Earlier last week, EA and Visceral Games unveiled the Dead Space 2: Severed digital download pack for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Given the fact that PC gamers appeared quite disappointed with such delineation, the companies recently offered them some reason to rejoice as well. According to a post on EA’s Dead Space 2 forum, a new patch has been unleashed for the platform.

Touted to roll out new weaponry, this patch is expected to flush the in-game store with free armaments. It also enables PC owners to don new suits as the patch has unlocked new packs at no cost. This offering is also said to fix the Elite Engineering Suit which apparently has created much furor in the community.

The post states that the PC patch introduces the ability to record and deduct saved games through the single player campaign in the Hardcore mode. Further, it also brings in the support for input binding, allowing gamers to use approximately eight mouse buttons. Besides, it is also plugged to venture with some mouse button de-bounce fixes.

The Dead Space 2 PC patch is now available for download through the official forum. However, the post offering details about the patch has been pulled off the web page. In addition, the company has revealed that the patch is on tracks for Steam though we’ve not yet heard about its availability details through this channel.
