Left 4 Dead 2 Stream Cross DLC will Arrive Early

Gamers it seems have given considerable response to a campaign released by Valve last week for testing. Developers had announced that if 20,000 people can survive a campaign from the Cold Stream pack before July 10, they would release Dead Air earlier than the rest of the DLC. And it looks like players had joined Left 4 Dead 2 in huge numbers as the 20,000 mark was surpassed in four and a half hours from commencement.

As 24 hours passed 60,774 had completed the achievement. Furthermore, developers had asked fans to submit bugs if they found any, and it appears that they have opted to tweak the purple and black checkerboard paintings from the DLC. Other campaigns in the DLC are being are also being worked upon. A new version of Dark Carnival finale too is under development by Valve.

Because gamers succeeded in completing the challenge from Left 4 Dead 2, Valve will release the Dead Air from the Stream Cross DLC as early as possible, the latest being July 22.
