“Call of Juarez: The Cartel is an action-packed shooter game with a strong story, interesting characters and a wide variety of gameplay options. The game will bring the best elements of the Wild West into modern times with a very gritty and relevant plot,” stated Adam Novickas, director of marketing at Ubisoft.

Players will be able to adorn their cowboy hats and silver spurs as they traverse through various interesting places such as the heart of modern day Los Angeles, California and Juarez, Mexico. According to the company, the game enables them to take justice in their own hands while they travel through the modern take of a lawless Wild West scenario.

Call of Juarez: The Cartel is currently under development and is slated to release all across the globe this summer. The official availability and pricing details are still hazy at this point.
