Clover: A Curious Tale was originally noted to be a watercolour side-scrolling platform puzzle game spiced with a political agenda. Now an improved PC version of Clover: A Curious Tale is scheduled to unfurl through a range of download services by Wednesday March 3, 2010. The user-friendly version will unfold onto the scene complete with French and Spanish translations.
Clover: A Curious Tale is expected to release in union with Blitz 1UP. The title doesn’t include any lives or health bars as it allows gamers to play at their own comfortable pace. The game is fashioned to challenge the interpretations of world events while putting the players’ puzzle-solving skills to the test.
“It’s hard to think of an area of the game that hasn’t been massively improved upon. We’ve got secret guest actors featured in the game that I’m chuffed to bits about. It’s an indie title with an indie agenda that anybody with an interest in puzzlers, Dizzy or counter-culture should play,” said Binary Tweed’s Deejay.
“We’ve stripped away some of the baggage that came with revisiting a classic genre, making the game feel more modern and welcoming to new players. For those that think they know Clover, they’re going to want to pay very close attention to each of the four endings. There’s more to the story than it might first appear,” explained Blitz 1UP Producer Neil Holmes.
The company has revamped all the areas of the Clover: A Curious Tale game with the help from the feedback it acquired from players of the original game.. Every character is given new animations while players can also spy the inclusions of new graphics, effects and user-interface. There is a complete voice-acted English dialogue as well as French and Spanish translations.
The script of the game is also four times bigger as compared to the original offering. The new enhanced title includes sub-quest and new puzzles. Gamers are faced with four new game conclusions all depending on their in-game actions complete with a playable epilogue. To provide that improved feel to gamers, the company also embedded context-sensitive controls.
Players can download the title via various services when it enters onto the scene next month.
