“Trine had an amazing E3 and we can’t wait to get it into the hands of PC gamers,” exclaimed Richard Iggo, VP of Marketing at SouthPeak Interactive. “The PC platform gives as many players as possible the chance to join forces and find creative methods for completing game objectives. It’s up to them to determine how their quests will progress and how they’ll ultimately achieve victory.”

The fantasy action and puzzle game has an engrossing storyline complete with fully interactive physics and a host of characters to choose from. The story takes you to a kingdom in anarchy. There you find a warrior, a wizard, and a thief all of whom are connected by a powerful relic known as the Trine. Players have to work in unison to make and use objects which can help them in solving puzzles and defeating enemies.

In order to end the reign of the dark sorcerer, players need to work together as each of the characters has their own unique set of talents. The Thief is agile and accurate when dealing with enemies, the Warrior can wreak havoc wherever he travels and the Wizard uses his magic to create and new paths and objects. Three player co-operative play is featured as a gameplay mode.

Trine has been developed by Frozenbyte, and SouthPeak Interactive plan to make the game available on North American PCs this summer. Prices of the game have not been announced.
