Demon’s Souls is the console role playing game developed by From Software exclusively for the PS3. Incorporating a dark fantasy theme, the game was released in Japan in February this year and was awaiting a North American release. Earlier we reported that North American publisher said that the Demon’s Souls’ servers wouldn’t go online before the game’s launch.
Aram Jabari writes on the PlayStation Blog that the game Demon’s Souls is now available for the PS3 in retailers across North America. No mention on the blog about the status of the game’s servers though. Demon’s Souls has 10 different player classes to choose from when players are creating their characters. And each has different starting stats and equipment.
The game is set in the Kingdom of Boletaria and has so far been highly praised by critics. The blog even says that there will be 10 posters signed by producer Takeshi Kajii, being given out. To have one of these ultra-rare collectibles sent to you, all you have to do is leave a comment on the blog about what class in the game you’ll choose, and 10 winners will be selected.
