BattleForge is the real time strategy game from Electronic Arts released in March. The title later became a Play 4 Free game. And EA Phenomic has announced that the BattleForge Renegade Edition card set is now live. More than 60 additional cards are now available via the in-game store and players have access to buildings and legendary units from the Southern Wastes region of Nyn.
The Bandits and the Stonekin, two new support factions, have been unleashed along side a variety of innovative legendary creatures. Players can now build a more varied offensive strike and strengthen themselves with new defensive strategies. Dual orb cards are also being added which aim at enriching the possibilities of a player’s strategic combat.
BattleForge merges trading cards with fantasy, magical spells and strategy in a fantastic online environment. The cards in the game are instruments of war and tools of battle, and each represents a unit, spell or a building that can be directly conjured onto the battlefield in 3D graphics. The game features single-player scenarios, cooperative scenarios which support 2 to 12 players and even Player vs. Player ranked and unranked duels.
BattleForge is available exclusively for the PC and combines elements of an MMO with an RTS title. The new BattleForge Renegade Booster Packs are available from the in-game store for 250 BattleForge Points or 2.50 USD (approx. Rs. 120).
