Gamers’ main motto is to make high score in either a 2-Minute or 5-Minute Mode. While, the 2-Minute Mode expects them to fight against one giant boss through one action-packed stage, in 5-Minute Mode, they have to battle in the course of a second level with its own boss. To increase bonus points, they have to get involved in the game’s practicing session and discover different strategies in both the modes. In the Quick Shot Mode, check out whether they have the fastest trigger fingers!

Players will fly from bottom of the screen towards the top, as it features a top-down perspective. Shoot at any ship or structure that blocks the path! If they keep succeeding, they are entitled to collect power-ups and keep adding their weapon or shield strength.

Through the Force System, they can even gather up to five orbiting satellites, which need to be held close to the ship for self-protection. The satellites can also be sent out for extra firepower. Compatible with three control schemes that includes Nunchuk and Wii Remote only (held sideways) or the Classic Controller, players have the opportunity to decide how they want to play the Star Solider.

“There is a lot of excitement surrounding WiiWare and we are proud that Star Soldier R will be one of the titles available on the platform. For Hudson, the potential of WiiWare is endless, and gamers can be certain that we will be bringing additional content to WiiWare in the coming months,” said John Greiner, President and CEO of Hudson Entertainment.

After earning high scores, gamers can go to the online leaderboards and see compare with other players in their region. To achieve the world’s highest score, continue to playing and enhance the ranking scale!
