Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords for PS2, Wii, PC and Mobile Announced by D3Publisher

Puzzle Quest You might have enjoyed the Puzzle Quest game that was released on the PSP and DS. Now Video games publisher D3Publisher of America (D3PA) has sent word that Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords will hit the PS2, Wii, PC and mobile platforms. It has been made specially to entertain both casual as well as hardcore gamers.

Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords will have deep immersion, five to fifteen minute play sessions and turn-based play style. The game includes strategy, role-playing elements and a persistent storyline in a puzzle board setting. It is set in the Warlords universe. Gamers can create, develop and customize the ultimate hero in order to save the land of Etheria from evil Lord Bane. Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords sees games combat in turn-based, head-to-head “match-three” style puzzle games in one of three distinct gameplay modes, Single-player, Instant Action and Multiplayer.

Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords for the consoles and PC is expected to release in Fall 2007 while the mobile version will release in early 2008. The PC and the XBLA version will be developed by Infinite Interactive while Vicious Cycle Software will help Interactive develop the Wii and the PS2 version. As for the mobile version, THQ’s Universomo Ltd. mobile game development studio will be the co-developers.
